Vulnerable Love

There Is No Possible Way To Operate In Unconditional Love Outside Of The Concept Of Vulnerability!

We Love Him, Because He First Loved Us. (1 John 4:19)

Vulnerable is ultimately derived from the Latin noun vulnus ("wound"). "Vulnus" led to the Latin verb vulnerare, meaning "to wound," and then to the Late Latin adjective vulnerabilis, which became "vulnerable" in English in the early 1600s.

The concept shows us that vulnerability is the state of being opened to injury and attack as if one whom would lay it all on the line in-spite of the repercussions and consequences of doing so!

The Bible says that We love God because He first loved us. Jesus stepped out of glory operating in a vulnerable state of love that would impart his affection for humanity by being seized, tortured, and crucified for the express purpose of manifesting His love first! No expectations! In-spite of his humiliation, Jesus would be the perfect manifestation of a love that would rattle the ages, shake the heavenlies, and transition us from one dispensation to another hurdling us into a Kingdom with no end!!

This is the type of love that inhabits our mortal bodies! We are called to vulnerably love! In-spite the pain we may walk through, forgetting the heartache we may experience, and lavishing love on a lost world with no expectations! This is being the light of the world! This is being the salt that brings flavor to planet earth! This is what being a Christian is all about!!

Buckle up,

Vulnerability Is Just Ahead,
