In Everything Give Thanks

As an ex-convict I’m all to familiar with living in a state of lacking. Your food is portioned out, your time outside is limited, and visiting family was kept to a bare minimum!

Imprisonment was hard. However, it taught me to be thankful. There are so many things in life we take for granted that I’ve experienced being deprived from. I find myself actually thanking God for a bar of soap while showering, or a whole bottle of ketchup when eating, and most importantly the opportunity to walk outside anytime I get ready!

This Thanksgiving I would like to challenge you to think of those that are less fortunate and lift up your heart with thanksgiving!
